The Italian DJ who claimed he was punched by Conor McGregor says if any video footage from the incident were released it would be a career ender for the MMA star.

Francesco Facchinetti claimed he was assaulted by McGrgeor when the pair were partying together in Rome at the weekend.

He previously said he and McGregor had been getting along fine all evening until he suddenly hit him in the mouth 'without motivation' at around 2.30am.

Facchinetti has now said if footage of the alleged attack were ever released it would put an end to McGregor's fighting career.

Speaking to Sherdog, he said: "Where are the videos? I think, if that video is going out, sorry for Mr. McGregor but this is the last time he can punch in normal life and inside the octagon because I'm waiting that type of video.

"When I went out I say to my wife and my friends I don't want to do nothing you know. He can kill me okay? Because his punch is like a Kalashnikov, he can kill me okay? I am alive, I'm lucky, I want to go back.

"My friend Ben said to me, 'if you don't do nothing you are f***ing stupid because you saw what happened. The bodyguards are not for defend[ing] McGregor against the people, they are defend[ing] the people from Mr. McGregor.'"

He went on to add that his pal warned him: "You need to go to the police first because the next time he punch another guy and that guy die or go to the hospital or something bad happens, it's also your fault..."

LADbible has reached out to McGregor's representatives for comment.

Facchinetti previously said the alleged assault took place in front of 10 witnesses at the St Regis hotel.

In a translated post to his million or so Instagram followers - as per MMA Mania - Facchinetti said: "He attacked me without motivation as we talked for more than two hours and we also had fun together,

"I could have shut up and not say anything to anyone, but since I'm here to tell it, I must say that that person is really violent and dangerous."
