A dog-sitter has been caught on a secret home security camera walking around naked, having also allegedly gone into the owner's bedroom with a man.

Dog-owner Rosie Brown had hired sitter Casey Brengle to look after her two pets in a California home via popular app Wag!

Brengle, 26, had been hired to mind the animals for four days, but soon into her stay, Brown received an alert on her home security system.

Brown told KABC: "On the preview on the alert, it showed a man in our house, someone that I wasn't expecting.

"So I opened it up and that's when I saw [Brengle] was there with a man in our house and they were going straight for our bedroom."

Footage shows Brengle and the man kissing in the living room, and apparently moving between the master bedroom and guest bedroom.

Brown said the video also revealed Brengle failing to deliver what she had promised for her $315 fee.

She was supposed to take dogs Penny and Daisy on long 30-60 minute walks, but Brown alleges the recordings show the sitter only took them out for one five minute toilet breaks.

Brown she says she is most upset about her sofa, saying she no longer feels okay sitting on it.

She continued: "To see that video where she's like butt-naked, sitting on it, laying on it, that was really hard because we just bought it.

"That actually used to be my favourite spot, right in the middle of it. I don't really touch it."

Brown also claims Brengle called her dog, Daisy, a 'bitch' at one point in the footage.

Brengle has said the dog had been 'acting like a jerk', but said her behaviour hadn't been appropriate.

However, when questioned about the nudity, Brengle said: "It got hot ... As I've said, I don't like wearing clothes."

She also claimed she didn't have sex in either of the bedrooms, adding: "It's OK that she believes that. That's not what was going on."

Brengle, who previously had more than 200 five-star reviews on the dog-sitting app, has since been suspended from the service.

Wag! said in a statement that Brengle's behaviour was 'unacceptable' and went against the app's Community Guidelines.

"We expect everyone on the Wag! platform to conduct themselves professionally."
