Squid Game has quickly become one of the most popular shows on Netflix, and with that, comes fanatic fans who have been re-watching again and again to pick up new clues.

Well, that's exactly what has happened here as viewers claim to have spotted a plot clue that has been hidden in plain sight since the very first episode.

Warning - Spoilers Ahead

Many have taken to social media to point out that drawings of every game the contestants play can be spotted on the dormitory walls.

It turns out that the drawings indicate what each game is about and if contestants noticed, they would have had a higher chance of escaping a bloody death.

One user wrote: "So for those who watched Squid Game, am I tripping or did y'all notice the drawings on the walls in the area they slept in?

"They had the answer to 'what's the next game' the whole time."

Netflix

"Squid Game semi-spoiler question: how the f**k did no one bother to look at the drawings on the wall?" another user added.

A third wrote: "So now that y'all watched Squid Game, did y'all notice the drawings on the walls of the room where the bunk beds were?

"There were drawings of the games they would have to play lol they never even noticed.

Whilst a fourth pointed out: "As if nobody ever noticed the drawings on the wall when they're holed up there the whole day."

Netflix

Finally, a fifth concluded: "I'm still wondering how out of the 456 players, nobody bothered to check/notice the drawings on the wall."

For those unaware, the premise for the South Korean series is pretty straight forward - 456 players who are in major financial ruin compete against one other in a selection of deadly children's games for a prize of 45.6 billion won - roughly around £23.2 million.

If you don't win or decide that you want to leave the competition, well, you can probably guess what happens.

As per IMDb, the Squid Game synopsis reads: "It's all fun and games - until it isn't.

"Over 450 people are abducted from the streets, all partaking in the 'Squid Game', where the contestants must fight for the ultimate prize: their lives on the line, on top of an unknown amount of life-changing money.

"It's the survival of the fittest, and there's no room for error."
