Ellie Goulding Among Drivers Filmed Saving Car Pushed Sideways Down Dual Carriageway
Ellie Goulding was one of a group of motorists caught up in a crash yesterday on one of London's busiest roads that saw a driver being pushed sideways by a truck.
In footage taken at the scene, people can be seen screaming and beeping their horns to try and stop the Royal Mail delivery truck from pushing the Volkswagen sideways down the dual carriageway.
It appears that because of the height of the truck, the Royal Mail driver had no idea the man's car was in front of him, and it's not clear how he ended up there.
The truck driver climbs down from his cab and can be heard yelling: "I didn't see him! I honestly didn't see him!"
During the video, Ellie could be heard asking the man why he's filming, to which he replies: "It's evidence". The truck driver appears to be extremely apologetic and the driver of the car that was pushed seems unhurt.
The cameraman argues with the Royal Mail worker as he opens the door of the Volkswagen and the car driver can be heard saying: "You spun me round."

The Royal Mail driver then says: "Let's pull over and I can explain."
Others can be seen asking the man in the black car if he's OK, with him looking calm and collected, while the driver continues to apologise for the mishap, saying he just hadn't seen him when the person filming angrily interrogates him.
The whole of the carriageway has come to a halt at this stage, with other drivers jumping in to check both parties are alright.
Ellie later posted about the incident on Instagram. Putting a screenshot on her story of a news report, she wrote: "Was just sent this - I'm the one in the car checking if this guy was OK - craziest thing I've ever seen on the road. Everyone was driving past but my driver guy stopped. Drive safe and look out for others everyone."
In a second story post, she added: "On a side note, I can't believe the first instinct of the other drivers who got out was to instantly start filming on their phone and shout abuse at the poor shocked driver, not even checking the other driver was ok. What on earth :-("
Transport for London confirmed the accident happened close to the Hanger Lane roundabout in north London.
A Royal Mail spokesperson told LADbible: "We are very concerned about this incident. We sincerely hope that no one was hurt. We are investigating as a matter of urgency."
