Adult filmstar Farrah Abraham is branching into the wrestling world and it seems to be causing quite a stir.

Abraham's TV career started in 2008 when she was selected for MTV show 16 and Pregnant and went on to star in its spin-off show Teen Mom.

She has also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition and two pornos - Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom and Farrah 2: Backdoor and More.

However, she was recently fired from Teen Mom after taking part in a naked cam show (which was so awful that the company had to issue refunds to its viewers, but that's beside the point).

But it was no skin off Farrah's nose because World Class Revolution Pro Wrestling had already come calling.

The wrestling promotion, an independent based in Oklahoma, announced on Saturday 14 July that they'd signed a contract with with Farrah.

"World Class Revolution is very proud to announce we have come to terms with former MTV star and author Farrah Abraham," the promotion said in a statement.

And World Class Revolution CEO Jerry Bostic said on Facebook: "We couldn't be happier to welcome Farrah into our family.

"Farrah brings brings a lot of creativity to the table and I can't wait to see all of the amazing work we are going to do together as a team."

He went on to say: "Professional wrestling and our other avenues of business have enabled us to start becoming a multimedia company, which has always been our goal.

"We're starting to effectively combine pop culture with our wrestling product and we're seeing great results thus far and we're just getting started.

"I would like to personally thank both Farrah and her agent Ricarte for this opportunity to do business together."

But it seems not everybody shares Jerry Bostic's enthusiasm.

Brit Paige, general manager for Smackdown Live, who was forced into early retirement because of a serious back injury, didn't respond well to news of Farrah becoming a "future champ"

She took to twitter, simply stating "Oh dear."

Unlike Jerry Bostic, we're not really sure what creativity Farrah can bring to the table - but let's just hope it's not another stunt like the staged Cannes dress malfunction...
