Horrific footage has been released showing holidaymakers soaking up the sun just metres away from two dead bodies.
The incident happened in one of Mexico's most iconic tourist hotspots and was caught on camera by a local news website El Sol De Acapulco.
The harrowing scene shows the pair of bloody corpses lying close to one another, while police officers and medical staff analyse the scene and make notes.

However, in the background visitors can be seen sat under a row of canopies, continuing to eat at the beach side restaurant, just a few feet from the police cordon, seemingly unfazed by what has just happened.
According to local reports, the victims were two - as of now - unnamed men, who had been chased from a vehicle trying to make their way to Caleta beach, in Acapulco, before they were shot and killed.
El Sol De Mexico has also reported that five bags of marijuana were found close to the scene and therefore authorities believe the two men were drug dealers who had been killed by a criminal gang.

But these men are just two of hundreds who have been killed over the past few months, in Acapulco alone, where since the start of 2018 there have been 678 reported murders in the area, 42 of them since September 25.
According to the New York Post, in April this year more tourists watched on as police pulled a man's body out of the water on Acapulco's Caletilla Beach.
And in the same month in the state of Guerrero, 16 people - including six police officers - were killed during a bloody 30-minute gun battle.

During a particularly grizzly case this year, police discovered the skeletal remains of six men in a house, also in Acapulco.
According to reports, the local government confirmed that some of the remains had their feet and hands bound, with a piece of wire around the neck.
As a result of the rampaging crime rate, it has been reported that morgues in Guerrero are being overwhelmed with the sheer numbers of dead bodies being found on streets.
And it is a nationwide problem. The Post also reported that levels of violence were 'skyrocketing' in the north-central state of Guanajuato, where authorities found piles of 'hacked-up limbs and body parts' on the streets of Salamanca.
