At least five people are feared to be dead after a gunman opened fire at the closing night of BPM music festival in Mexico.
According to early reports, the man arrived at the Blue Parrot Club in Playa Del Carmen and began firing shots through an open window, killing five.

Mixmag, which has reporters at BPM, has also claimed there is a second shooting at a separate venue, The Jungle, where another BPM closing party was taking place.
Festival-goers have been warned to stay inside and the
organisers of BPM tweeted to say all closing parties are now closed; these
tweets have since been deleted.

Local news reports and social media users claim that the shootings may be cartel related. Others believe it may be terror related, although no official response has yet been made by Mexican police.
