A former Virgin Australia flight attendant posted a video of herself prank calling a love interest after finding out he'd been chatting to one of her crewmates too.

Sophie Cross took harmless revenge on the unsuspecting guy, who presumably hadn't realised the two women were colleagues.

The video, which had nearly 900,000 views at the time of writing, was posted on TikTok with the caption: "When two flight attendants fly together and realise the same guy is talking to both of you," followed by the hashtags 'caught' and 'unitedbywings'.

In the clip, Sophie can be seen calling the man on speakerphone and saying: "Hi, sorry Tim the phone dropped out earlier."

Holding back laughter, she tells him: "It's Brazilian Beauty calling back. You had your 2.30 appointment for an a** bleaching that you missed and I was just wondering if you'd like to reschedule?"

It seemed Tim saw the funny side, telling the caller to 'f*** off' as she laughed at the camera while pointing towards her phone.

The viewers were equally amused at the prank, with plenty of comments offering praise for Sophie's light-hearted gag. One comment read: "Gold! This is awesome." A second person joked: "Tim didn't even reschedule."

Another said: "Have literally had this same thing happen with another flight attendant I worked with and we sent him a pic of us together."

However, some of the viewers weren't too impressed, claiming the man had done nothing wrong by talking to two women at once.

As one person argued: "Well technically he can talk to both of you if he's not exclusive with you."

Either way, hopefully everyone in this supposed love triangle has moved on. Especially by now - although the video was uploaded this week, Sophie Cross has not worked for Virgin Australia since 2019, according to a spokesperson for the airline.

Virgin Australia Group Public Affairs Manager Kris Taute told Daily Mail Australia: "The cabin crew team member is no longer employed by Virgin Australia having left the business in mid-2019."
