It's Mother's Day on Sunday March 22 - and where do you think your dear old mum would most like to be on her special day? The answer is, of course, a trip to Toby Carvery.

Truly, there's nothing that says 'I love you mum' more than getting her a plate of the Big Four (Gammon, Pork, Turkey, Beef), running the gamut of surprise veg (leek with a Sunday roast? Sure! Why not?) and drowning the whole thing in gravy.

Toby's have made it even more appealing this Mothering Sunday by offering one hell of a deal.

Book your table after 7pm and you'll get the cheapest meal you order for free. All you have to do is get a voucher on the Toby Carvery app to bag one free adult meal.

A free roast on Mother's Day? I wouldn't say no.

Given Mothering Sunday falls on, well, a Sunday, that also means that Toby Carvery will be serving roast lamb in addition to the other staples, giving you a mighty FIVE choices of meat.

Vegetarian and vegan options are also available - although, honestly, this one's probably for the carnivores.

Before you get too excited, do bear in mind that drinks, starters, puddings, children's meals and king size upgrades are still all charged at full price. The Mother's Day deal also can't be combined with other discounts.

All of this could be yours.

If you are heading to Toby's this Mothering Sunday, please be mindful that the gravy station is to be approached with caution.

Often the most heated part of the carvery procession, the queues have been known to cause tension and even violence - as happened at a branch in Caerphilly, Wales last year.

Sarah Pritchard, 35, of Pwllypant, Caerphilly, was fined £54 after losing her temper in a queue at a busy Toby Carvery in the Welsh town, assaulting victim Joanne Blanche, 50, as she was about to spoon a ladle of gravy over her roast potatoes.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police told Wales Online at the time of the incident: "We were called at around 4.20pm last night, Wednesday, December 11, to reports of a fight between two women.

"Officers attended and a 35-year-old woman from Pwllypant area was arrested and has been charged with assault."

See you down there!
