There are also roles for Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, and a host of others.
The trailer begins with Neil Patrick Harris (looking to be playing a therapist) conversing with Neo (Keanu Reeves).
Patrick Harris asks: "You seem particularly triggered right now, can you tell me what happened?"

Reeves hesitantly replies: "I've had dreams that aren't just dreams."
"Am I crazy?" asks Neo.
To which Patrick Harris says: "We don't use that word here."
The surprise comes where Neo and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), who were lovers in the original trilogy, are unable to recognise one another.

The full-length trailer ends with actor Jonathon Groff talking with Reeves.
Groff says: "After all these years, to be going back to where it all started...back to the Matrix."
Speaking to LADbible last year, Reeves promised that the fourth instalment of the series would be 'something special'.

He said: "We have a lot of hope and ambition, and we hope that people really enjoy them, and we have an ambition to make some really special films."
He added: "I haven't seen them yet, because we're still making them, but I can tell you that [director] Lana Wachowski is an incredible filmmaker and artist and she's written a wonderful script.
"We're doing our darnedest to make something special, and the same goes for John Wick, we hope that we can create a really satisfying and enjoyable next chapter."

As well as the trailer, Warner Bros. released a short teaser a couple days ago (7 September) with more information about the flick on the official website - where fans get a choice between a virtual blue and red pill.
Depending on which one you choose, and the time that you visit the site, you are shown different footage from the movie, of which there are reportedly 180,000 variations.
For example, one of the sequences is voiced by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who says: "This is the moment for you to show us what is real. Right now you believe it's... [whatever time it is where you are] ... but that couldn't be further from the truth.
"Could be this is the first day of the rest of your life, but if you want it, you gotta fight for it."
While in another version, we are met with a very sinister-sounding (potentially Agent?) voice, which says: "Do you remember how you got here? You've lost your capacity to discern reality from fiction. What's real is here and now [time].
"Anything else is just your mind playing tricks on you. It becomes a problem when fantasies endanger us. We don't want anyone to get hurt, do we?"
So if you get started now, you might make it through them all by the time the actually film is released.
The Matrix: Resurrections premieres 22 December 2021.
