When we're faced with utter tragedy, like the Nice attacks last night, it's good to remember that there are still plenty of decent people out there.
Like this hero, who reportedly tried to stop the terrorist as he drove his lorry into the crowds of people, eventually killing at least 84 people.
Eyewitnesses have come forward to say that a man hurled himself into the cab of the lorry and wrestled with the driver, who pulled out his revolver and fired shots at the unnamed man and police officers. No one was hurt. The driver was eventually shot dead by two police officers, the Independent reports.

Eric Ciotti, an eyewitness at the scene, told Europe 1 that while people tried to get out of the way of the truck the man jumped in and was able to help the police kill the terrorist.
Police sources have confirmed that the massacre may have gone on even longer if it hadn't been for this brave guy.
A video has also emerged of a motorcyclist who tried to stop the lorry. The footage shows the man drive alongside the lorry, jump off his motorcycle and throw himself onto the vehicle. It's still unknown if the hero motorcyclist survived.
