This year has been so crappy, you might be willing on Christmas more than usual - roll on 2021, and all that.

Those who agree are in luck, as Home Bargains are offering their festive decorations early to get punters in the festive spirit.

Yes, despite the fact that it's still summer, the discount store already has an extensive range of Christmas goods on display. And it's safe to say that people are loving it.

During a recent shopping trip, one woman filmed the yuletide collection at her local Home Bargains, reports The Sun.

As is shown, there's a lot to choose from, including tree decorations, Christmas crackers and glittery wrapping.

The eager shopper shared the clip on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, alongside the caption: "If anyone wants to start early that's all the Christmas stuff in Home Bargains."

The post has since received thousands of likes and comments from the online community, with one writing: "I'm going shopping tomorrow."

"Id normaly say how ridiculous xmas starting in aug-but this year with it being a horrendous year for everyone,i seem to welcome the sight of xmas on the shelves," said another.

They added that it's 'something to look forward to,perhaps next year i'l moan again about it starting to early."

A third tagged their pal, commenting: "Please can we go. I NEED that Santa bucket."

Apologies to anyone who's bah-humbugging their way through this story, but it looks like Christmas has come early whether you like it or not.

Speaking of which, a radio station has decided to follow suit by playing Christmas songs every day for the next four months.

Bauer Media says its festive services are needed in order to lift the spirits of those amid what is potentially the worst year in modern history.

Tony Moorey, Group Content Director, Magic Radio, told Radio Today: "At Magic Radio we are constantly evolving our offerings and launching innovative new shows and stations to ensure that we reflect our audience's needs.

"With listeners seeking cheer and fun during these challenging times and a strong understanding of how music and Christmas are interlinked, we knew that the next expansion of the Magic brand had to be around the joy of Christmas."

Ronan Keating, Magic Radio Breakfast presenter, added: "2020 has been a hard year for us all - what better way to lift our spirits than bringing Christmas forward a few months?

"One of the most fulfilling parts of working at Magic Radio is to be able to connect with our listeners and bring a smile to their faces, so I can't wait to launch Magic 100% Christmas and turn up the Christmas cheer!"
