Incredible footage has been shared showing the moment a truck loses control and flips off the road before becoming wedged on top of a house.

The terrifying clip was taken from Denis Lefebvre's dashcam, who was driving in Alban, Canada, when he spotted the overturned truck ahead of him.

The video starts off with a car driving merrily down a long road, with nothing appearing to be out of the ordinary.

The next thing, a truck up ahead is sent flying into the air, spinning as it does, before crashing down through a telephone wire and landing on a house.

Denis continues driving towards the crash before stopping a few yards away.

By the time he makes a stop, a few people are already gathered around the lorry, surveying the damage.

The truck lost control and flipped off the road.

The short video was posted on Facebook by Denis' wife, along with the caption: "Gosh... Denis witnessed this on his way home from work today. Caught on dashcam."

It's understood that no one was injured during the incident and that the owners of the home were in their garage behind the property when the crash happened.

The truck's passenger Dylan Cox told the news channel: "I had no idea what was going on at first.

"I had to gather my senses, gather my stuff, and then leave the truck. And that's when I noticed we're on a house."

The power lines had to be turned off by a repair crew who went out to fix the broken line. The car was then taken away by a team of large trucks and a crane.

Luckily no one was in the house at the time.

According to CTV News, the male driver of the truck has since been charged with careless driving.

Earlier this month, a man shared footage of the moment a van driver crashed into his £20,000 car because they were allegedly too busy 'checking out a woman' walking down the road.

Jai MacKenzie was driving along a residential street in Trinity, Edinburgh, last week, when a white van collided with him.

Angered by the bump, Jai posted the clip to his Facebook page, claiming the other driver was to blame as he wasn't watching where he was going.

Jai captioned the clip: "Van driver drove off after it was checking out the girl on the pavement not paying attention to the road."
