Instagram Model Lands 'Coolest Job' And Travels The World With A Millionaire
An Instagram model has snapped up the 'coolest job in the world', travelling the globe for free and living the life of luxury.
Tyanna De Assis fought off stiff competition from 60,000 others vying to become a millionaire's personal assistant.
The 27-year-old has spoken about her new job, which will see her become the right-hand woman to e-commerce businessman and fellow Aussie Matthew Lepre, 26.
Raking in £66,000-a-month, Matthew lives the five-star life, travelling to places like Dubai, Japan and LA, giving seminars about his success.
Describing it as the 'coolest job in the world', the millionaire put out an advert asking people to apply for the position, and boy did they. He received thousands of applications but chose Sydney native Tyanna to join him on his travels.
No stranger to luxury living herself, Tyanna is used to the finer things, holidaying in Bali and Paris.
Prior to working for Matthew, she worked for a creative agency but didn't think she had been picked for the exciting role.
Speaking to news.com.au, she said: "After four months working for the agency I went travelling to LA and while I was there I found out I was short-listed - I headed back to Sydney and had a phone interview with Matt and it went from there.
"I applied because it was already what I was doing - office and PA roles, social media content strategies.
"This role was perfect because I could travel which I do a lot of anyway and have the best of both worlds."
Tyanna titled her job application 'Most entertaining PA you will ever have', but was stunned when she received the news that she had been picked.
She said: "It's crazy, even my family and friends wonder how I got it - but they said it's perfect for me."
She added: "I am used to travelling and working from different locations and different time zones.
"I literally just landed from LA this morning and I am ready to start my next role. I have also researched your course, so hello, I am really intrigued and interested."
According to reports, Tyanna is only six weeks into her new career and hasn't done any travelling yet.
But it wasn't the exciting lifestyle that caught her eye when applying for the role - she says the clincher for her was the opportunity to learn how Matthew built his empire.
She explained: "I can and have travelled on my own anyway."
It hasn't always been plain sailing for savvy businessman Matthew. He was raised by a single mother who lived off weekly food donations from The Salvation Army.
At 23, he quit his dentistry degree to sell products on Facebook.
He is currently planning out a course to teach people how to make their millions. Once he's done with that, he and Tyanna will set off on a tour of either Europe or South America.
He said: "Tyanna will be travelling the world with my team and I, as we educate people that there is a better way then just working the 9-5 lifestyle."
