Jamie Foxx has revealed that he once asked Snoop Dogg to help him intimidate his daughter's boyfriend. Watch him explain below:
The actor shared the tale during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he discussed his new book Act Like You Got Some Sense: And Other Things My Daughters Taught Me.

Foxx said that he asked the rapper to 'shake' the poor lad up when he came round to meet his daughter.
He said: "What happened was my daughter - didn't know that I had already ran a background check on her boyfriend - he comes to the crib, and Snoop happens to be there.
"And I said, 'Snoop, there he is, right there. Shake him up'. And, you know, Snoop walked over to my daughter's boyfriend and just said, 'Hey, what's up, cuz? We her uncles, you know what I'm saying? So act accordingly, homie'.
"But the underlying meaning was that I wanted the young man to understand that she's got people that really love her, so that if something does go wrong, Snoop is coming."

The Collateral star doesn't expressly say which of his two daughters he is talking about, though it's thought to be his eldest, Corinne.
But Snoop isn't just a foreboding uncle figure, he also likes to chill with some of his famous mates and smoke weed, in case you didn't know.
Having torn up Amsterdam with Willie Nelson, Snoop also once invited It's Always Sunny star Rob McElhenney for a smoke at 7.30am.

The actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where he spoke about his experience with Snoop, comparing it to 'hurtling through the atmosphere at 30,000 miles per hour, directly towards Mars'.
Sounds pretty decent, doesn't it?
Anyway, when Kimmel asked Rob whether he'd ever been under the influence at work, he explained: "This season, of Mythic Quest we had Snoop Dogg as a guest star.

"Now Snoop does not drink alcohol, he smokes marijuana as we all know... and so Snoop agreed to come on the show which was a surprise to me, but we were so happy about it.
"And his call time was 7.30am and I said 'ok well, I don't know what time he's going to show up but he can show up whenever he wants, he's Snoop'.
"I'm there around 7.15 and I get a knock on my door from the wardrobe department saying, 'Hey Snoop's wardrobe is here, do you want to take a look at it?'"

Rob went on to explain how he went to look at the mocap suit (motion capture), unsure whether Snoop Dogg was going to wear it before adding: "It's like 7.15, 7.20 and I think, OK let me figure this out and all of a sudden I hear his bus rolling up, he's early."
Rob got out and went back to his own trailer, but said 15 minutes later he got a knock on the door saying Snoop wanted to see him.
"I'm assuming he's unhappy about the wardrobe," he remembered, continuing: "I walk in, he's already wearing it [the suit] and he goes 'what's up man', I said 'hey, what's up, Snoop?' He goes 'you wanna smoke a joint?'
"I was like 'well, it's 7.30am but if Snoop comes to your place of business and asks you if you want to smoke a joint, you say yes. So I said yes."
