Jetstar Launches 'Beach Sale' With Dirt Cheap Flights To Sandy Destinations

Hamilton Island for $79, don't mind if I do.

Jetstar has been on an absolute roll when it comes to sales to help alleviate our boredom.

While we're only in February and the temperatures across the country are pretty bearable, the low-cost airline wants to give us an easy way to get to the beach later in the year.

But not just any beach.

If you've been hankering to check out some of the best places in Australia to have a dip in the ocean, then you can do it at a fraction of the normal cost with the company's 'Beach Sale'

Say you're travelling from Sydney, the cheapest flight you'll find is Melbourne (Avalon) for just $31 one way.

Jetstar is also slinging flights to Byron Bay (Ballina) for $39, the Sunshine Coast for $49, the Whitsundays for $75, Hamilton Island for $79, Cairns for just $85 and even Nadi in Fiji for $169.

If you've got a bit more money in your bank account (how, please tell me) then there are some pretty decent deals to places like Bali ($209), Rarotonga in the Cook Islands ($272), Phuket ($209) and Honolulu ($209).

Some of the deals go from February to April, April to June, May to July, July to September, October to December, and February to March next year.

So there are plenty of times to head off on a weekend away.

But you need to be wary when you're booking your flights as not every day of the week is listed at that price. Travellers will have to be cunning to ensure they're getting the cheapest ticket possible, and that might mean you have to take a few extra days of holidays here and there.

The sale will finish on Monday February 17 or until all the available seats are booked, so you haven't got much time to get your mates together and organise a cheeky trip away.
