Joe Exotic Has 'Reached Out To Joe Biden' After Failed Pardon Attempt

Tiger King star Joe Exotic is reportedly hopeful that President Joe Biden will grant him a pardon after former POTUS Donald Trump denied his requests.

Exotic, real name Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, had pinned his hopes on a presidential pardon from Trump during his last days off office - but as his last day came and went, Exotic realised it wasn't happening.

Now, a new report in TMZ claims the Big Cat-loving convict is hoping that Biden will step in and ensure he's released.

In a series of email seen by the news outlet, Exotic says he is confident that Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will 'help clean up the corruption in the Department of Justice and other agencies'.

Exotic was handed a 22-year-prison sentence in January 2020, having been convicted of two counts of murder-for-hire, eight counts of violating the Lacey Act for falsifying wildlife records, and nine counts of violating the Endangered Species Act.

Prior to Trump's denial of his clemency attempts, private investigator Eric Love, who is leading Exotic's case, told the Metro he was feeling fairly confident his client would be released.

He told Metro: "This time tomorrow, we're going to be celebrating. We have good reason to believe it will come through.

"We're confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. We are really in action mode right now.

"I've got make-up, wardrobe, the whole unit that will come up. The first thing Joe wants to do, he wants his hair done. He hasn't had his hair done in two-and-a-half years. That's the first order of business.

"Then we'll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib."

Asked why he was so confident Trump would spend his last day in power pardoning Exotic, Love said: "I think the President has sided with us and I believe it will take most of the limelight away from President-Elect Joe Biden.

"Last night, I shot a congratulatory video thanking Donald Trump so we have it queued up and ready to go.

"As soon as we get the word, we're going to execute that video to the White House and thank them."

However, their hopes were dashed when Exotic's name did not appear on a list of 73 names pardoned by Trump.

And upon hearing the news, Exotic was unable to hide his disappointment, in a post on Twitter, he said: "I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump.

"I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first."
