Italian centre back, Leonardo Bonucci, mocked England supporters last night after the Three Lions lost the Euro Final on pens. Watch video below:

Bonucci, 34, was quick to taunt fans almost immediately after Arsenal's Bukayo Saka had his penalty saved by Italy Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The centre back twice shouted "It's coming to Rome!" down the TV cameras whilst celebrating the victory.

He appeared to be referring to England's famous chant and song, titled Three Lions (Football's Coming Home).

Performed by Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds in 1997, the song has over 35 million views on YouTube and has been sang by England fans ever since.

Bonucci levelled the score in the 67th minute after England full back, Luke Shaw, netted in the second minute.

The equaliser was a scramble in the box after a corner, where the season Italian tapped it in from close range.

England supporters were on cloud nine after Shaw's opener that started from a counterattack and ended with opposite fullback, Kieran Trippier, whipping the ball from wide, in which the Manchester United left back dispatched with conviction on the volley.

The game stayed level and extra time was not enough for either team to influence the scoring.

However, it was penalty heartbreak yet again for England with Donnarumma saves against Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, while Marcus Rashford's penalty hit the post.

Despite England's Jordan Pickford making two saves, in the end, Italy won 3-2 on pens.

This was Bonucci's first win of the European Championship but he is no stranger to lifting silverware.

Playing his club football with Juventus in Serie A, he has won the league eight times with the club from Turin and once with Inter Milan.

Along with winning Italian footballer of the year in 2016, amongst other trophies, it's his long-term defensive partnership with national and club side teammate, Giorgio Chiellini, 36, that's proved to be the largest contributing factor to his successes.

According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano's Twitter, Jose Mourinho, speaking in 2018, had some huge praise for the defensive pair, which many consider to be 'Italy's Gladiators'.

Mourinho said: "Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini... they could go to Harvard University to give classes about how to be a central defender. They're quality."

"When I say quality, I don't just say creative players. Chiellini-Bonucci, it's absolutely beautiful to see".

Between both of them, they have made a total of 219 appearances for their country.
