As Valentine's Day rolls around, you'd be forgiven for feeling a little overwhelmed.
After all, when you've already spent 12 months spoiling the person you love with birthday presents, gifts at Christmas and maybe something to mark your anniversary, the last thing you want to do when February rolls around is splash out another few hundred quid on a massive bunch of roses.
Well, thankfully, Lidl has got your back as the big day rolls around, as the supermarket chain is selling huge bunches of 100 red roses for just £25.
That works out at 25p a rose, which will be great news to your bank balance.
After all, bouquets of 100 roses are listed on the Interflora website for a whopping £380 - and while I know you can't really put a price on love, you do have a limit on that overdraft.
If you do opt for the more expensive option, Interflora promises the 'premium, long-stemmed, large-headed' flowers are a 'luxurious choice for a truly magical moment', and bunches from 'hand-crafted by your local artisan florist'.
"Timeless, glamorous, and always ready for their close up, our red Freedom roses are #ValentinesDayGoals," the Interflora website says.
"As the petals open, our roses form full and beautifully shaped blooms. Bottom line? These are some seriously special stems."
Lidl's £25 version may not be quite as spectacular, but it should have enough of the wow factor you're after. You can always pad them out with a bottle of Lidl Champagne (with prices from £12.49) or some chocolate roses (from 99p).
After that, you've just got dinner to think of - and again, this needn't be an extravagant affair, as the JD Wetherspoon Valentine's Day offer is back.
For just £20, you and your date will get two courses and two drinks, although you can also upgrade to a bottle of Prosecco or rose brut for an extra £5.
You can each pick out a main course from a choice of 8oz sirloin steak, mixed grill, BBQ chicken melt, triple chicken feast, chicken and rib combo, BBQ pork ribs, Mediterranean vegetable lasagne and gourmet vegan burger.
Following this with dessert, choices include warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, warm chocolate brownie with ice cream, warm cookie dough sandwich with ice cream, fresh fruit with ice cream or British Bramley apple crumble - with, you've guessed it, ice cream.
As with all JD Wetherspoon branches, products and pricing may vary depending on where you are, but the pub chain told us the £20 offer will be available in more than 600 pubs across the UK, so chances are you'll be alright.
