Coach Francesca (@francescapsychology) regularly shares tips online, including ways to 'study faster' and signs that someone has a crush on you.

In one of her latest videos, Francesca has shared a number of ways to help make others like you, which is part of an ongoing series.

"Sneaky psychological tricks to make people instantly like you," she says as she introduces the new video.

In the clip, she outlines three tricks that people can use - all of which are relatively straightforward and involve simple habits like using people's names when you speak to them.

Francesca says the first idea is all about asking for favours.

She explains: "One: ask people to do a small favour for you. This is called the Benjamin Franklin effect. Say something like, 'Hey, can you pass me the salt please?'

"Their subconscious mind thinks that they like you because they're doing a favour for you."

Sharing another trick, she continues: "Two: call people by their name. We absolutely love hearing our name called by someone else because it makes us feel important and appreciated."

Finally, Francesca's third way involves how you respond to people.

She says: "Three: instead of responding immediately after someone says something to you, wait a couple of seconds. This will make them feel like you're really thinking about what you're going to say to them, and it makes you seem like a better listener."

Her video has racked up more than 457,000 likes and a whopping 3.3 million views, with many TikTokers commenting to stay they were intrigued by her methods.

One person said: "Wow sooo smart... not even Google knows this."

Another replied: "Thanks for the info."

A third person commented: "Basically be humble and a bit shy lol."

But some people said they didn't feel quite so convinced by the techniques, with one social media user writing: "I think this wouldn't work for me. I hate hearing my name and if someone stops after I say something I think they're judging me."

Another agreed: "If people hesitate before responding I freak out inside."

Sharing their reaction, another user added: "If someone calls [me] by my name I'll freak out."

One person, however, simply wrote: "I don't care if they like me. I like me. Period."
