Man, 47, Is Offering To Pay Someone $25,000 To Find Him A Girlfriend
Unable to find a partner himself, an American man is outsourcing the workload and offering to pay someone $25,000 to find him a girlfriend.
After achieving everything he has wanted to in his professional life, Jeff Gebhart is keen to settle down and share his life with someone.
The 47-year-old from Prairie Village, Kansas, has launched a website pledging to pay $25,000 to someone who can find him 'the one', as well as another $25,000 to a no-kill dog shelter.
But $25,000 isn't just a random amount, it's based on how much money Jeff says he spends on dating per month, plus how long he thinks it will take to find someone.
Speaking to KCTV, he said: "The main objective of this is to find the right girl for me, wherever she is.
"You have a big number that apply, you put them through a Willy Wonka machine and the ones that come out are the ones that would be great candidates for me.
"Any one of them and that's without looking at pictures or knowing the chemistry or anything."
Adding: "My time and frustration and disappointment definitely is worth some sort of dollar figure, but that was roughly what I'd spend in dating."

On his website, DateJeffG.com, the 5'7" entrepreneur opens up about his interests, his businesses, and his 'zest for life'.
It says: "I am an entrepreneur fortunate enough to still be passionate about the career path I've chosen. Throughout the years, I've established, built, and sold a couple of companies and have enjoyed economic success.
"However, what really makes any experience enjoyable is the people you get to share it with."
He goes on: "I don't need a person to complete me, but I'm looking for a person with qualities that will allow us to complement each other.
"I'd like to find someone who is fun, easy to spend time with, someone who is confident, driven, shares the same interests as I and has a zest for life. Funny, goofy, and doesn't take themselves too seriously."
Visitors to his site are led to a survey to see how compatible they might be with him, asking them for information about themselves, such as where they live and how tall they are.
However, if you're thinking about putting your name in the hat, there are a few T&Cs that you should probably have a look at before you do.
The first is that the person who refers the lucky lady, will only receive the $25,000 in $5,000 instalments over five years, and if the relationship ends during the first year, then they get nothing.
Also, Jeff says, he will only date someone 'whose birth sex is female'.
