A man has been sacked after he took part in the storming of the Capitol Building in Washington DC yesterday while wearing his work lanyard.
Obviously, while the firm he worked for - a direct marketing company based in Frederick, Maryland - support their employees' right to protest, they don't look too kindly on illegally smashing into important government buildings, or causing violence and disorder.

The man was even pictured standing next to the horned hat wearing 'Qanon Shaman' who has become something of a poster boy for the whole incident.
So, now his place of work has announced that their employee has been 'terminated for cause'.
A full statement from Navistar Direct Marketing reads: "Navistar Direct Marketing was made aware that a man wearing a Navistar company badge was seen inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 during the security breach."
The statement continued: "While we support all employee's right to peaceful, lawful exercise of free speech, any employee demonstrating dangerous conduct that endangers the health and safety of others will no longer have an employment opportunity with Navistar Direct Marketing."
Obviously, the man's actions have also made him a figure of fun online, with people queuing up to point out the foolishness of wearing a badge identifying your place of work while participating in some of the most shocking scenes in recent American history.
One person wrote: "This genius wore his work badge while storming the Capitol."
Another said: "Hahahaha he wore his work lanyard to a coup."
A third joked: "Just because it's a violent coup with obvious legal repercussions doesn't mean you shouldn't be networking."
The scenes in Washington DC yesterday shamed the United States and called into question whether President Donald Trump should still be in office today.
A woman was shot dead, three other people died from 'medical emergencies', and two suspected explosive devices were found at the headquarters of the main political parties.
For his part, President Donald Trump called for peace after being prompted, but continued to reiterate his baseless claims that the election of 3 November 2020 was in some way fraudulent or 'stolen' from him.
In a Twitter video, Trump said: "I know your pain, I know you're hurt, we had an election that was stolen from us, it was a landslide election and every knows it, especially the other side, but you have to go home now, we have to have peace.
"We have to have law and order, we have to respect our great people in law and order - we don't want anybody hurt."
He continued: "It's a very tough period of time, there's never been a time like this where such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us, from me, from you, and from our country.
"This was a fraudulent election, but we can't play into the hands of these people.
"We have to have peace, so go home. We love you, you're very special. You've seen what happens, you've seen the way that others are treated that are so bad and so evil.
"I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace."
