A British man has revealed he owns 1,400 houseplants and is very in tune with each and every one of them.
Loads of people would happily admit they are mildly addicted to having houseplants.

They'll decorate a shelf, bathroom or side table with an interesting or rare plant and can sometimes get mocked by their friends and family.
But none of these people have anything on this bloke from the UK.
In just a few years, Joe Bagley has amassed around 1,400 houseplants in his one-bedroom, two storey home.
Looking after all those living organisms is no small task and the 20-year-old says it can sometimes take a couple of hours to make sure they're all watered and fed properly.

"Every morning when I wake up and walk around, it's lovely," he said. "There's not a single room without plants in and every room is chockablock.
"There's plants on the stairs, dinner table, my bedside cabinet. I'm always thinking of new places to put more.
"I have some plants in here and I don't know where they came from. I can't remember buying them. It's like I have an addiction.
"At one point there were plants blocking the door and only I knew how to get past without knocking them over. I've had to clear the doorways now and create a bit of a path so people can get around.
"Going to the bathroom you do have to brush some of the leaves out of the way.

"In the spring and summer that's the best room in the house for the plants because there's a skylight above the bath so the special plants go in there.
His fascination with houseplants began when his grandmother gave him a cutting of her spider plant at the age of 13.
Since then, he's slowly but surely amassed an impressive collection of items. Joe reckons he's spent around £3,500 on plants in the past few years.
While his grandma sparked his fascination, she often gives him stick for adding to his collection.

He said: "My grandma always tells me off if I buy more plants so I have to hide them in my car until she goes to bed and then smuggle them in.
"She gets a bit annoyed when she comes around and sees 30 more plants than there were last time but the rest of my family and friends love it. They laugh but in a good way."

Joe added that his daily watering and feeding routine has left him very in tune with their wants and needs.
He said: "I spend several hours a day looking after them all. I regularly take them outside to hose them down and get rid of any dust.
"Once every two to four weeks I do a big spring clean where I prune everything.
"I have a sixth sense for knowing when something needs watering. I can just be walking past a plant and I know.
"I have even been known to wake up at 1am and think 'hang on, one of my orchids needs watering'."
His dream is to launch a jungle cafe, however, until he gets enough money to set the business up, he's content with the jungle being inside his house.
