A man showed off a set of horns he's had implanted under his skin while at the International Brussels Tattoo Convention this weekend.

German Rolf Buchholz, who has the world record for most pierced man, was one of hundreds to attend the event held in Belgium between 8-10 November.

The annual gathering sees tattooed, pierced and bodily modified folks showing off their adornments, while others can opt to get some new ink from award-winning tattoo artists.

Any tattoos obtained at the event are eligible to be entered into a contest, with prizes handed out for 'best graphic' and 'best of show'.

Of course, most of those who attend the convention have their own impressive body mods to show off - Buchholz managed to stand out due to his horns.

As well as his dermal implants, Buchholz has a whopping 480 piercings, 278 of which are in his penis. Lovely.

Speaking back in 2017, he said the metal doesn't get in the way of his sex life, explaining: "It's not a problem at all. I have had the piercings already so long, if there was a problem, I would have got rid of them already long ago." Fair enough.

He also has 94 around his mouth and in his lips, which must make eating pretty difficult. However, Buchholz says the only issue he has to deal with is airport security, but maybe not for the reason you'd think.

Buchholz claims he was denied entry into Dubai, back in 2014, because of his... erm, unusual look.

The world record holder said he attempted to visit the country to take part in a special event at a nightclub, but that he was turned away.

He told the Associated Press that while he initially got through security and had his passport stamped, he was then stopped at customs and hauled into an interview room.

Buchholz claims airport officials told him the authorities were worried that he could be the type of fella who dabbled in black magic and then refused his entry due to 'security reasons'.

He added: "Those who escorted me back to the plane said that it was because of the way I looked and that it was because I am black magic."
