There are many ways you can make visitors feel welcome: you can offer them a cup of tea, give them a kiss on the cheek, let them keep their shoes on in your house.

However, mowing a massive penis into a field for them to see as their plane lands hardly says 'it's lovely to have you here'.

The penis in question has been cut by Born Eco ahead of the arrival of Donald Trump, who is due to land in the UK today (Monday) for a state visit.

The penis is accompanied by the message 'Oi Trump', while a polar bear has been cut into another field alongside the message 'Climate change is real'.

Born Eco said the field art was created under the Stansted Airport flightpath to 'welcome' the US President with a 'stiff' message.

Sharing the pictures on Twitter, the eco-friendly online marketplace said: "Guess who's been busy today mowing a stiff message for Trump under the Stansted flightpath... Please share and let's see how far we can spread the welcome!"

A huge security operation is in place ahead of Trump's visit, with numerous protests and rallies set to take place across London.

Denis Fernando, of Stand Up to Trump, said protesters will bring the capital to a 'standstill'.

According to The Independent, he said: "What he's said and done is beyond rude, beyond pleasantries, he's posing a threat to people. If you put together all the people Trump has in some way expressed bigotry towards, you have the majority of the population.

"Thousands of protesters will be marching to surround Trump as he joins Theresa May on a visit most believe should never have happened.

"We will be bringing central London to a standstill.

"By the time he leaves he will know - and the world will know - that people here reject him and his toxic politics."

In a statement, Met Police said the cost of policing the trip would be 'significant'.

The statement read: "It is too early to speculate about the cost of the policing and security operation at this stage, but it will be significant.

"A very experienced command team is preparing the multi-faceted policing and security operation for the president's visit, and whilst the Met has a responsibility to ensure the right to lawful protest, this needs to be balanced with the complex requirements of this policing plan."

When Trump visited the UK last year, protesters inflated a 20ft orange blimp depicting the world leader as a crying baby.
