Michael Buble has pulled out of hosting this year's BRIT Awards to be with his son, Noah, who is currently being treated for liver cancer.

Producers are now discussing who will replace him at the ceremony next month at London's 02 Arena.

A source told The Sun: "It was a difficult call but Michael has decided to pull out of hosting the Brit Awards.

"Out of respect for Michael the producers gave him as much time as he needed to make the decision, which they completely understood.

"He would have put a unique stamp on the night so it's a real shame, but at the moment his priority is his family.

"They are exploring other options now about who will take his place and a number of people have thrown their hat in the ring.

"No matter who they pick it will be an incredible night."

The Canadian singer has cancelled all of his upcoming events after learning of his and Argentian wife Luisana Lopilato's son's diagnosis.

Buble's sister-in-law Daniela has said doctors gave Noah a 90% chance of survival during his reported four-month long chemotherapy.

She revealed: "Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this.

"We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it's got to be done."
