He posted the news on his Instagram account, sharing a photo of his scales to prove he had lost the weight.
In the caption he wrote: "Five days later, 7lbs lighter. Couple of short bike rides and no cake, happy with that. Only one way to celebrate, cake!"
It looks like he used that mysterious fat loss tool known as a calorie deficit to shed a bit of weight, and 7lbs in a week is a bit of an achievement.
People joked with him in the comments, with one person saying: "Did you find a sympathetic tile in the bathroom?"
Paddy replied: "I was holding onto the top of the shower."
Just a few weeks back Paddy had a bit of a revelation that he'd put on a few pounds, sharing his findings on Instagram.
The 46-year-old comedian showed off his six-pack last year, but, as is the case for most of us, it all went to pot.
He shared a side by side photo with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in Shot Caller, next to a selfie of himself in the mirror.
He wrote: "In every prison movie I've watched people tend to come out of isolation looking in peak physical condition? I've only been on lockdown for 18 days and I can no longer see my penis!"

He also shared a picture on Instagram, with the caption: "Isolation gains. #stayhome #staysafe #washyourhands."
Paddy has been isolating with his wife Christine and their three children - Leo, Penelope and Felicity.
The family have been keeping each other occupied during lockdown and have even found TikTok fame in the process.
