Watch the moment a decorator got the fright of his life when his ladder gave way beneath him - thanks to an angry pensioner who felt the climbing apparatus was in his way:
Fernández Sanchez was innocently painting the outside of a house in Lima, Peru, with a ladder propped up against the three-storey building.

The ladder had been tied to a door for stability which ended up being a problem for one elderly, wheel-chair bound man who was obstructed on the pavement.
Instead of shouting up to Mr Sanchez, the anonymous OAP can be seen approaching the ladder before violently shaking it until the painter came tumbling from a height of around 30 foot.
According to the Metro, the pensioner became enraged when he noticed that the ladder was blocking his path.

Speaking to local media, a nearby resident said: "The man becomes upset when there is something on the sidewalk. He always speaks rudeness."
Luckily, Mr Sanchez can be seen quickly scrambling to his feet with the help of a pedestrian although he seems to be struggling considerably (and understandably).
The workman was taken to hospital but discovered that he hadn't suffered any serious injuries and now police are investigating the incident which took place in the San Martin de Porres district.
The Metro reported that the owner of the house - a man called Adam Carranza - said that he and his granddaughter could have been hurt had the ladder fallen the opposite way.
It seems people on Twitter haven't got much sympathy for the OAP with one writing: "Being in a wheelchair is no excuse for that. There was plenty of room to be able to get through. I'm a wheelchair user and regularly experience problems".

Another added: "What a nasty man - he could have killed that guy and no doubt has caused him serious injuries [sic] (even if he did get up and walk away) - the man should face criminal charges."
A third commented: "WTF.... hope the painter is completely fine. That was an awfully sinister thing to do."
