Juventus fans watching the Champions League Final in Turin, Italy ran in every direction after reports of an explosion.

But local media have insisted there was no bomb or explosion, with some people on social media claiming the panic was caused by someone setting off firecrackers.

The incident caused thousands of people to run away from the fan zone, causing some to be injured in the crush. There are reports of as many as 30 people being wounded from the stampede.

Earlier, the San Carlo Square was packed with people setting off flares and waving banners. Real Madrid won 4-1 in the match played in Cardiff, Wales.
