Some people have been finding Channel 4's Breastfeeding My Boyfriend pretty 'weird', to say the least.

While the title of the documentary is pretty self-explanatory, the synopsis reads: "A look at the taboo surrounding adult breastfeeding, exploring a growing underground scene that ranges from women producing milk for their partners to the lucrative lactation porn industry."

The eye-opening doc aired yesterday (25 Oct) and the couple who proudly appeared on it have left quite the impression, it's safe to say.

Users just can't quite seem to get to grips with the whole thing and have slammed the show on social media.

Lana and her fiancé Shawn appeared in the Channel 4 documentary.

One user wrote: "Okay I was curious about #breastfeedingmyboyfriend and two things come to mind...

"1) There are some really weird people in the UK.

"2) How do these people go into work after this is shown?"

"What a terrible day to have eyes," someone else said.

Another, seemingly very upset user, added: "I'm SO ANGRY @Channel4 has allowed the airing of #breastfeedingmyboyfriend.

"A thing that is so natural, and has so many health benefits for our babies, that mothers already get abuse for doing in public&you make a show, sexualising it further and adding fuel to the stigma fire?!"

Appearing in the documentary is Lana Michaels, and the mum-of-two has said that breastfeeding her fiancé Shawn is arousing and nutritious, as per The Sun.

"We have an open relationship and we both like trying different kinks," Shawn revealed prior to the documentary airing.

"I'd been sucking from another woman when I started feeling milk in my mouth. That burned up the sexual idea of breast milk connected with sex and it went from there."

Lana explained: "Shawn and I have always experimented a lot with sex and I did some research on the internet about breastfeeding and I found out you can restart the milk in your boobs by taking a herbal milk supplement.

"After three days of taking the supplement, I had a drop of milk in my breast and Shawn started sucking to get the milk flowing. It felt cool.

"We have sex about five times a week, and Shawn breastfeeds a couple of times in a week.

The official synopsis reads: "A look at the taboo surrounding adult breastfeeding, exploring a growing underground scene that ranges from women producing milk for their partners to the lucrative lactation porn industry."
