The pitch invader that stopped play in England's Euro 2020 final Vs Italy has revealed himself on his Instagram.

Adam Harison ran onto the pitch during the second half at Wembley with several stewards brought on to take him down.

Harison's stunt occurred during a very tense moment in the game whilst the score was still level at 1-1.

After jumping over the advertising boards, shirtless, he ran around for around two minutes before getting stopped.

The security team took their time though, having cornered the football fan near the touchline without managing to catch him.

Harison knocked a third steward to the ground with another one managing to drag him to the floor but catching him only for a few seconds as he managed to escape and get back up.

It was only when the fourth steward was able to successfully capitalise on the Instagrammer and halted him yards in front of Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Adam Harison, who took part in a Little Mix TV show, has posted and revealed himself on his Instagram account, @adamharison, with over 40,000 followers.

He captioned the photo, explaining the reason behind the antics.

He said: "At the end of the day.... I love my country and I did this all for a good time. Nothing but love and respect for England tonight. BIG LOVE PEOPLE:heart: Always."

Users were shocked to see that it was Harison who caused the delay.

One said: " Is it Big Brother next for you? Fame hungry, couple of eps on tv...time to get your s**t together."

A third user also pointed out that viewers were actually unable to see the majority of the footage as broadcasters were unwilling to show the public who it was, in attempt to avoid glamourising fans stopping games.

"No one watching it on the tv even saw you"

Harison is a singer/songwriter and appeared on BBC show Little Mix The Search. He was a member boyband New Priority and was partying in the stands before deciding to evade the pitch.

Prior to his Instagram post, the singer was posting several videos to his story, including celebrating Luke Shaw's opening second minute goal in the match.

Unfortunately, England were unable to get over the line after Leonardo Bonucci's equaliser in the 67th minute brought the game to penalties.

The three lions got passed extra time and it was down to a penalty shootout.

It was penalty heartbreak yet again for England with Gialuigi Donnarumma saves against Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, while Marcus Rashford's penalty rattling the post.

Despite Jordan Pickford making two saves, in the end, Italy won 3-2 on pens.
