Police Hunting For Whoever Rearranged Aussie School's Sign To Say 'Welcome Bak C***s'

Police Hunting For Whoever Rearranged Aussie School's Sign To Say 'Welcome Bak C***s'

That's one way to ring in Term 2

A school in Tasmania has been left a little red-faced after someone rearranged a cheery message on its signboard to say something very, very rude.

The sign outside East Devonport Primary School originally carried the polite message 'welcome back students'.

However, someone craftily managed to dispense with some of the letters and rearrange a few more, so that it simply read 'welcome bak c***s'.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the sign was promptly changed as soon as administrators saw it. Tragically, that only happened after a picture was taken and uploaded to social media, where it's gone viral on Reddit and the Facebook page Launceston Memes.

The school has since got the police involved.

A statement from the East Devonport Primary School was posted on Facebook, which said: "Very disappointing that over the weekend someone chose to vandalise our school sign and place offensive language on it.

"It has been dealt with and reported to the police.

"A big thank you to all those concerned members of our community to reported the incident and expressed their concern. If anyone knows anything about who might have done it, can they please contact the school or the Devonport police."

Whoever did could soon have a knock on the door.
