Reporter Says 'Oh S***, F***' On Live TV Following 'Technical Difficulties'

Oh dear

A reporter in the US swore on live TV twice after experiencing 'technical difficulties'. You can watch the gaffe here:

Ken Dilanian was supposed to be reporting on the impact of Donald Trump's refusal to acknowledge Joe Biden's election win.

But when Craig Melvin asked him what he had learned, the response Ken gave was: "Oh s***, f***."

That in itself is clearly funny, but the best part was yet to come - the camera cut back to Craig, who just stared blankly for a few seconds, before concluding: "OK... Errr, think we lost Ken for a second, we'll try to get him back there."

Craig's face was priceless.

They did indeed get Ken back eventually, and he took the opportunity to explain himself to viewers.

He said: "Hey, Craig. First, I want to sincerely apologise to viewers who may have heard me use profanity at the top of the last hit.

"What we're learning today is the potential impact of the resistance of the Trump administration to acknowledge the Biden win in the intelligence arena specifically."

Fortunately, he's also offered up a bit of an explanation on Twitter as to why he seemingly inexplicably decided to drop a double swear bomb.

Oh Ken, what the f*** are you like?

But while he may feel a little embarrassed about his on-air swears, it seems all is forgiven, judging by the reaction to his tweet:

After all, the news is far more entertaining when it goes wrong anyway. Like Formula 1.
