Ryanair has trolled Eric Trump by offering him cheap plane travel in cases he loses 'access to Air Force One' after the 2020 US presidential election.

The budget airline shared a screenshot from a news clip, in which Eric made an appearance alongside Rudy Giuliani in Pennsylvania.

Speaking to reporters, Eric had echoed his father's comments as he claimed that Democrats were trying to 'cheat' by committing mass voter 'fraud' - vowing to file a lawsuit to halt vote-counting in Pennsylvania.

He said: "This is absolute fraud, we've seen it in Philadelphia before, they're trying to make a mockery of the election of this country."

As the clip began to circulate, Ryanair decided to pipe up - posting a screenshot of Eric on Twitter and writing: "The look of a man who might not have access to Air Force One in the future and will have to fly commercial.

"Don't worry Eric, we have €9.99 fares next time you're in Europe."

While some Twitter users found the joke amusing, others took the opportunity to troll Ryanair back - claiming they've had issues with refunds from the airline.

One person wrote: "The look of an online refund request form that is designed specifically not to allow refunds - it is permanently blocked."

Someone else said: "The look of a man that just spent half an hour on the phone trying to speak to your Customer Service and got told they picked the wrong option and will need to speak to another member of the team to sort out the refund they've been waiting for months."

A third added: "He will have to make sure he has more money to book another flight because he could wait 6 months to get a refund - impossible time get a response to DMs etc."

Ryanair has been piggy-backing onto the election news for other Twitter content, making quips about Melania Trump doppelganger conspiracy theories, and joking that its service does fly to Georgia - not the US state, though, but the country.

"Spend less time on cute tweets and more time on answering customers and refunding their tickets," one customer raged in response.
