Seven Foot Five Inch Tall Man Says He's Refused Driving Licence As He Can't Fit In Car

Meet Denis Albino - he's Brazil's second tallest man, standing at a dizzying height of 7ft 5in.

You might already be thinking the obvious: how does he find clothes?! How many spider's webs does he come into contact with? How big is his... sorry, are his feet?

Despite coming in very handy for changing light bulbs and popping the star on top of the Christmas tree, being so tall has its major drawbacks. Driving a car for example.

Denis says he has been repeatedly denied a driving licence because he's just too tall to fit inside a car and his size-15.5 feet (US size 16) are too big to fit on the pedals.

According to local media, the 47-year-old is the second tallest man alive in Brazil and he stands at 2.3 metres (7' 5").

He said he needs a vehicle to travel to shows and TV performances - jobs he gets off the back of being do damn tall - but has been left frustrated after being continually refused a licence.

Born in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia, Denis first learned to drive in 1994 when he was 21 years old.

However, despite multiple attempts to obtain a licence, he has always been deemed to be too big for the vehicle he used for the tests.

With size 15.5 shoes, his feet are deemed too big for the pedals as well, according to reports.

Four years ago, he bought a Volkswagen Parati and extended the driver's seat to have 10 centimetres more room so his legs could fit. However, his head was still touching the roof.

Denis said he's often stopped in the car.

Denis revealed he encounters similar problems on flights, telling local media: "I always have to book a seat by the emergency exits where there is space for my legs, otherwise I cannot fly."

He admitted he has been stopped by the police several times while driving a car without a licence and added: "Every time I was pulled over, they listened to my story and helped."

On the other side of the spectrum is Jyoti Amge - she is the world's smallest woman, standing at just over 2ft tall. Her pal does have something in common with Denis Albino - he's really bloomin' tall.

Sultan Kösen, 35, is from Turkey, and at a colossal 8ft 1in is the tallest man on the planet. He and Jyoti spent some time together back in 2018 after they were both invited to Egypt for a photoshoot.
