Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear gave the judge a double thumbs up as he appeared in court to plead not guilty to sharing private sexual images.

The reality TV star arrived wearing dark shades, a white suit and pink shirt and posed for pictures ahead of his appearance in the dock.

Once inside, Bear denied secretly filming himself having sex with a woman on 2 August last year, before sharing the footage without her consent.

Bear also gave the judge a double thumbs up.

It is alleged that he uploaded the sexual images to porn sites OnlyFans and Pornhub.

He faces charges of one count of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs or films with intent to cause distress.

After pleading not guilty, the 31-year-old gave Judge Christopher Morgan a double thumbs up and thanked the justice at the ten-minute plea hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court today (Friday 30 July).

He was released on bail.

At the end of the hearing, he told the court: "Thank you for that. It's nice to finally set a date when I can hopefully get my life back."

The television personality, who was a contestant on MTV's Ex On The Beach in 2015 and 2016, arrived at court in a black Mercedes with a custom number plate spelling his name.

As he left the court, he did another thumbs up to the cameras and shouted the words 'not guilty' from the steps.

Bear was released on bail to reappear before a jury on 7 February next year. The trial is expected to last two to three days.

Just before Bear left the dock, Judge Morgan told him: "Your trial is now fixed for 7 February next year.

"If you don't attend when required to do so a warrant may be issued for your arrest."

Bear, from Loughton, Essex, won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 and co-presented Just Tattoo Of Us with Charlotte Crosby on MTV in 2017.

Earlier this year, Bear seemed to mistake the voyeurism charge he faces with 'voyaging'.

Addressing the allegations that were being made against him, he said: "So let's start with the first one. Harassment doesn't sound good does it? Exposure. Not too sure what exposure means. Obstructing a police officer. What do you reckon I did? Do you reckon I got in his way?'

"I think voyeurism is because I've been to Dubai and I've gone on a voyage - I'm getting nicked for travelling to Dubai because I've been on a voyage.

"Do you blame Captain Cook for sailing the seven seas? No you don't."
