Straw Getting Passed Through Bottle Illusion Is Blowing People’s Minds

A magician has blown people's minds after appearing to pull a straw all the way through a beer bottle.

Tom Bolton has thousands of followers on TikTok, and regularly posts clips of him performing mind-boggling tricks and illusions.

And one of his latest efforts has left viewers with not only a hankering for a bevvy but also desperate to know what the hell is going on.

In the short video, the young wizard can be seen holding a bottle of Budweiser, which has a white and red striped straw sticking out of either side.

Showing it to the camera, Tom says: "This is what's called an illusion. You see it looks like this straw is getting passed right through this bottle, but if we were to take the straw out, you'll notice there's not hole in the bottle at all.

"In fact, you can even pour some out just like that. Cheers."

Well, I've watched it about a millions times and am still none the wiser.

Some users have claimed it's a trick bottle or that there are holes in it and he's only filled it up halfway, but no one's certain.

Commenting on the post, one viewer proposed: "There's a flap in the middle of the bottle and the interior is empty below the flap and there is a compartment above with beer."

Another tried: "That's not an illusion, it's called Adobe After Effects."

"Actually, it's a trick bottle with a container at the top," claimed a third. "If you pause the video, you can see the place he put the straw. It is a little circle."

While another quizzical viewer asked: "Why couldn't you just pull it straight out. Why did you have to twist it at the end?"

Now, if you're not amazed by this, we have another story that most certainly will.

Kieron The Mighty, a performer and artist from the West Country, has the incredibly rare ability to swallow things and then regurgitate them on cue, and in any order you like.

The 37-year-old says he only knows of eight other people in the world that have the same ability, and that it has left doctors baffled.

Speaking to LADbible, Kieron explained: "It is very rare. I'm one of eight known in the world, from what I know.

"From my research I've collected pretty much anyone I could find that has the ability, but there are different ways of knowing if someone is a magician or not.

"If they don't water spout, they generally aren't a regurgitator, there's other things going on. What I'm looking for is people who are doing a particular thing."
