Royal Wedding 2018: The Awkward Moment Prince Harry's Ex Turns Up

Chelsy was invited to the big day, to be fair, but still pretty awkward that she actually showed up

Guests have been spotted rocking up to the wedding of the year - Harry and Meghan's, of course - all looking suitably colourful for the sunny springtime ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Amal Clooney turned up in a bright yellow dress and matching hat with husband George, while Oprah was head-to-toe in pale pink.

The Beckhams arrived at the castle soon after, too - Victoria showing off that sunny disposition of hers with a navy blue dress and a pout.

Oh, and there was someone else of note... Harry's ex, Chelsy Davy.

Of course, the Internet was quick to start thinking the exact same thing:

Chelsy was invited to the big day - so it's not exactly like she'll come storming in at the moment when the vicar asks if anyone knows of any lawful impediment why Harry and Meghan can't get married. Though there's still time...

Another person tweeted: "Strange that Harry would invite his ex."

"The speak now or forever hold your piece segment is going to be interesting," another wrote.

"Why would you invite an ex though?" someone else said.

Harry's ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, dated the prince, on and off, from 2004 (while he was at the boarding Stowe School) until 2010. But the two remained on good terms, it seems.

In fact, he's managed to keep things friendly not only with Chelsy, but also his other ex Cressida Bonas, who he was introduced to by his cousin, Princess Eugenie, back in 2012 - before the couple split in 2014.

A source told W Magazine: "Harry has stayed good friends with Chelsy and Cressida, so they will be there... He made sure there were no hard feelings when they split up. I don't think Meghan will mind."

Cressida is thought to have been invited, too, so fingers crossed Meghan isn't too bothered. Who knows, maybe even one of them will catch the bouquet?
