It's a title that many vie for but only one can get - Manchester has been named the top dogging site in England.
Dating site Datingroo has compiled a list of the most popular locations in the country for the 'outdoor pursuit'.

The company found there were some 30,000 searches for dogging in Manchester in the two months prior to the study being carried out back in October.
It's thought the rise in activity was due to boredom brought about by lockdown, as well as the particularly clement weather over summer.
And according to the piece of research, there are an incredible 131 outdoor hook up spots in and around Manchester, based on searches.
That puts it ahead of London, which had a paltry 67, Liverpool (81), Essex (85), and Newcastle (59). Amateurs.

And Mancunians are even ahead of doggers in Edinburgh and Cardiff, where there are 62 and 76 sites, respectively.
Now, if you're sat there wondering what on Earth is 'dogging', let us shed some light on it all, so to speak.
'Dogging' is where people go and watch other people have sex in a public, or semi-public place, such as a car park.

And while it's not totally clear where the term came from, one theory claims it derives from 'going out to walk the dog', which would have been an excuse used by doggers to hide their activities.
Another suggests it comes from the verb 'to dog', which means to follow or track something.
Now, while it's not strictly illegal - you can be prosecuted under 'outraging public decency' - police do not advise the practice. Unsurprisingly.
Speaking about it back in 2019, a police spokesperson said: "Sex in public places is not necessarily illegal.

"However we will take action where anyone could be offended by another person's conduct or actions."
In 2019, people in Yorkshire were the country's top doggers.
According to the study, Swinging Heaven Yorkshire had a massive 271 spots, with some of the exciting locations including a water park in Wakefield and a track next to the runway of Doncaster Sheffield Airport. Romantic.

On the site dogging spot users are encouraged to leave reviews, like a sort of filthy Trip Advisor. One satisfied dogger posted about the water park: "Can't park on site but there are a lot of places to go around including the bird hides - have had many a fun night in there." Ah, fond memories.
The Yorkshire/Lancashire rivalry was also on full display, with Lancs coming second, boasting 217 dogging sites.
According to the study, al fresco lovers were taking full advantage of such exotic locations as Preston North End's Deepdale stadium and Charnock Richard services on the M6. One user wrote: "I ended up in a truck with a fit trucker who I met in the loo. Def one to visit again."
