Dynamo found out the hard way today that doing a magic trick on live TV is an extremely brave move.

The magician appeared on This Morning today and performed for Holly and Phil, with fans thinking they exposing his trick.

Real name, Stephen Frayne, the 37-year-old went on the ITV show, despite having just recovered from a bout of Covid-19.

He told the pair that he thinks he most likely had a mild case which then became severe because of his Crohn's disease and arthritis. He assured Holly and Phil, saying: "I'm doing a lot better. As you can tell, I'm still a little croaky!"

Moving on to his 'isolation magic' trick, Dynamo turned silent and put the back of cards to the camera with notes written on each of them.

He asked Phil to name either a suit - either clubs, hearts, diamonds or spades.

Phil picked diamonds and then Dynamo asked Holly to pick a picture or number card. She chose the queen. Dynamo then put all the cards up to the camera and opened his mouth to reveal he had one in there.

He then asked: "Phil, you said spades, right?"

Phill said yes, but added: "Did I say spades? I said diamonds!"

He then took the card out of his mouth.

Phil let on that he'd got him worried for a second, exclaiming: "I thought that was going to go so horribly wrong!

However, fans think they had clocked how he did the trick.

One person tweeted: "He got the card and put it in his mouth when he covered the camera with that other card #ThisMorning."

Pfft - there's always one.

In a video shared on Instagram, the 37-year-old said he had self isolated for more than two weeks after suffering symptoms such as coughing, aches and pains.

He also highlighted he was at 'high risk' due to his ongoing battle with Crohn's disease, which he was diagnosed with as a teenager. However, having suffered 'quite severe' symptoms, he said he was hopeful he was over the worst of it.

He said: "Hey guys, over the last few weeks I've experienced symptoms such as persistent coughs and lots of aches and pains. I self-isolated for just over two weeks and took the necessary precautions. I was advised to take a private test.

"Now I appreciate that this not a possibility for everyone, this decision was made by me and my team for a number of reasons, first because of my existing health issues and the fact I'm on immuno-suppressant therapy, I'm at high risk.

"Secondly although I haven't a fever, my symptoms have been quite severe. And finally so that I was able to inform those I'd been in contact with so they could take their own precautions.

"I've had my results back and I have tested positive for Covid-19. This illness doesn't discriminate and can present itself in many different ways. We're all genuinely at risk."

Good to see our favourite magician is on the mend, though.
