Donald Trump has described Joe Biden as a 'complete and total catastrophe' at his first major rally since leaving office. You can watch him slam the current POTUS here:

The former US president gave a 90-minute address at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Ohio on Saturday (26 June), where he also hinted at plans to take back the White House in 2024.

Speaking to the thousands of MAGA supporters, the 75-year-old slammed the Biden administration and said Republicans must win in order to 'take back America'.

He said: "After just five months the Biden administration is already a complete and total catastrophe.

"Crime is surging, murders are soaring, police departments are being gutted, illegal aliens are overrunning our borders. Joe Biden is destroying our nation right before our very own eyes."

At the event, which kicked off what has been dubbed the 'revenge tour', Trump also criticised US generals for being 'woke'.

As outlined by the New York Post, earlier this week, General Mark Milley - chairman of the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs of Staff - defended the study of critical race theory in the military.

This academic movement is centred on the idea that racism pervades all areas of society in the US.

Despite ongoing actions to tackle these issues in America, Trump criticised its presence in the military, telling the crowd: "The Biden administration issued new rules pushing twisted critical race theory... into our military.

"Our generals and our admirals are now focused more on this nonsense than they are on our enemies."

He added: "The military will be incapable of fighting or taking orders. The military brass has become weak and ineffective leaders and our enemies are watching and laughing at us."

Trump also used his platform to take aim at those who have gone against him, including Anthony Gonzalez, one of ten Republicans who voted to impeach him earlier this year.

"He's a grandstanding RINO, not respected in DC, who voted for the unhinged, unconstitutional illegal impeachment witch hunt," he said.

"He's a sellout, he's a fake Republican, and a disgrace to your state, I will tell you that."

Besides ripping into his enemies, the former Apprentice star also maintained his opinion that he did win the 2020 election, and might even run again in 2024.

"We won the election twice, and it's possible we'll have to win it a third time," Trump teased, prompting a cheer from his supporters.

This isn't the first time Trump has suggested he may run for presidency once more, especially if a certain someone is willing to compete against him.

Earlier this year, when speaking to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, the businessman said he'd be even more willing to give it another shot if none other than Meghan Markle threw her hat in the ring.

Whether he's serious or this is just a calculated way to get his name stirring in the headlines again... well, we'll leave that one for you to decide.
