Two armed men who were reportedly members of ISIS took hostages at a church in northern France are dead and one hostage has been killed, according to reports.
The incident broke out around 9.45am local time at the Church of the Gambetta in the Haute-Normandie region.

Local media reported a priest and two nuns had been taken along with several worshippers.
Is has since emerged that the priest was the hostage who was killed after the 86-year-old was reportedly 'beheaded'.
Police and the emergency services are at the scene and the area has been cordoned off.
A resident said he was making his way to the church when the horror unfolded.

He told French newspaper MetroNews: "I was going to go out and do my shopping when the police started shouting me to go straight home and barricade myself.
"There is a lot of agitation, the police are bulletproof vest and armed."
