The Queen is looking to hire a new Royal cleaner for Windsor Castle.

In the advert placed on The Royal Household website, Her Madge is now on the hunt for a part-time Daily Cleaner to maintain the vast interiors of Windsor. Applicants who fancy the gig are advised to apply online.

The opener reads: "Joining our professional team at Windsor Castle, you'll upkeep, clean and care for a wide range of interiors and items, ensuring they're presented to their very best.

"In an environment where development and training is commonplace, you'll be able to grow your skills within your role."

The starting salary for the part-time role ranges from £9,700 to £14,500 a year, with all the usual employee benefits, as well as a 15 percent employer contribution pension scheme.

So if you're after getting pally with Liz and Phil or looking for a new challenge, now's the chance to apply.

Between 20 and 30 hours are the required weeklies, during the hours of 7am and 12pm - which means you'll have your afternoons free to do as you please.

Could Windsor Castle be your new place of work?

However, there are some stipulations when getting a gig at Windsor Castle.

Previous hospitality experience and a 'sharp eye for detail' are needed to make sure the place is kept tidy and to a high standard.

And it appears to be a developmental role, too, asking for a 'positive and flexible approach to work,' encouraging their new employee to be 'happy to get involved in a range of duties, supporting the wider team' and to possess an eagerness 'to learn and develop your skills'.

In return, they'll offer a 'comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays),' not to mention 'training and development, as well as a range of catering and recreational facilities'.

If you think you're up to the task, what are you waiting for? The closing date's 8 March - yep, that's tomorrow - so be quick if this one's for you.
