The park has been finished for a while now but the opening was postponed indefinitely - until now.
Universal Orlando Resort tweeted some 'key visuals' from the Mario Cafe & Store, which will open outside the park on 16 October, just to get you in the mood:
If Japan is a bit of a trek for you, a Super Nintendo World is also being built at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Fans of the franchise have been excited to see the very beginning of construction appears to have started.
A photo posted on an industry information account shows a photo of what appears to be green hills being built - and they bear a striking resemblance to those in the Japanese version of the theme park.
As you can see from the photo - it may look fairly underwhelming, but the news will most likely be music to the ears of Nintendo fans.

The attraction itself is said to be based on Mario Kart, as well as Power Up bands that let guests collect coins around the park.
And if that's not enough Super Nintendo World action for you, construction is underway for one in Orlando too, although that's not set to open until 2023.
