A viral video reveals a woman grinding on a police officer as he tries to cuff her.

According to the Daily Mail, the woman is 24-year-old Alabama University graduate April Teale, who was held on misdemeanour disorderly conduct and harassment charges on Saturday 19 October.

The incident is believed to have taken place in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, outside a Waffle House near Bryant Denny Stadium.

It is believed that Teale had earlier been at the stadium watching a game, which saw the Alabama Crimson Tide football team beat the University of Tennessee.

Speaking to Busted Coverage via Instagram direct messages, Teale explained she'd been drinking 'Jager and Bootlegger' in the lead-up to the incident, and said she intends to write a letter of apology to the officer involved.

She said: "I was charged with misconduct and harassment (not sexual). I'm not sure what happened before. Tennessee game day did a number on me.

"I'm speaking with the officer in a few days to get the full story though."

Explaining she wasn't meeting with the policeman who arrested her, Teale added: "No, I'll just be writing an apology to TPD, not speaking with the arresting officer."

She added that police were not 'letting her off', and she hadn't been asked to send an apology, but that she was 'just writing one'.

The Daily Mail reports Teale is set to appear in Tuscaloosa Municipal Court on 9 December after being freed on $1,000 bond.

The clip has been shared widely on social media, including on an Instagram channel called Barstool Sports, which referred to the incident as the 'horniest arrest of all time' in the caption.

In the footage, Teale appears to make moaning noises at the arresting officer, asking him: "You like that?"

One Instagrammer commented: "How to disappoint your parents twice in one video."

Another added: "It be crazy out in these streets."

Quoting Teale from the video, another wrote: "'Oh yeah! You like that!' I'm dying."

Teale has recently updated her Instagram bio, jokingly urging people to send her some money on Venmo.

It reads: "Went through some legal trouble, if you wanna throw me $5 bucks, Venmo me @April-Teale I'd like that."

LADbible contacted Tuscaloosa Police but they refused to comment.

LADbible has also reached out to Teale for comment.
