A woman has been sacked from her job after footage of her exploding in a racist tirade against two sisters was shared online.

Several clips show a seemingly drunk Susan Westwood berating sisters Chele and Leisa Garris, in a car park in Charlotte, North Carolina.

During the disturbing videos, Ms Westwood becomes increasingly angry, calling the two women 'bitches' and bragging about her $125,000 (£97,700)-per-year job.

At the beginning of one of the clips Ms Westwood looks right at the camera and says: "Hey, how are you? I'm hot, I'm beautiful, I'm 51. What are we going to talk about tonight, being hot, being beautiful, being white, my new weave?"

Shen then repeatedly asks the sister where they live and why they are in an area Chele calls Myers Park/Southpark.

Westwood says: "What are you doing here? Does your baby daddy live here? Nobody cares, I'm hot and I'm white, nobody cares.

"What are you doing hanging out here on a Friday night? Don't fuck with your life, bitch, nobody cares, get out of here, get out."

In a later clip she can be seen saying: "Want me to bring out my concealed weapon, too? This is North Carolina, by the way."

The footage was shared on Chele's Facebook page. The post reads: "MOUTH DROPPING VIDEOS... Never thought this would happen to my sister and I right here in Charlotte, NC (Southpark/Myers Park area)."

The two sisters claim they had not met Westwood before the incident and had been waiting for a breakdown repair team when they were approached.

Chele told local press: "We are so distraught and still very upset about what has taken place, only because of the color of our skin.

"It's so upsetting to know that today, we still have this overt racism that's going on in 2018."

According to reports in the Metro, Westwood has now lost her job at Spectrum and is now facing two charges communicating threats and two counts of simple assault.

A spokesman for Spectrum's parent company, Charter, told local news outlet WCCB: "The incident recorded in Charlotte is a blatant violation of Charter's code of conduct and clearly disregards the company's commitment to inclusion and respectful behavior. As such, Ms. Westwood's employment with the company has been terminated, effective immediately."
