I'm sure many of us have considered joining one of those sugar daddy websites. It comes to the end of the month, you only have enough money for beans on toast, and you're just dreaming of a slap up meal, cocktails and a nice little prezzy off some rich fella.

But one girl has revealed the dark side of the seemingly harmless dating sites, as she told how she was actually abducted after refusing to have sex with a man that she met on one of them.

Leila was just 18 when she signed up Sugar Daddy Meet - one of the many specialist websites out there which offer young girls a taste of luxury with an older, wealthy man. The man gets to go out with a young attractive girl that he probably wouldn't otherwise have a chance at pulling.

Expecting to be wined, dined and showered with expensive gifts, Leila had been on one date with a man she met on the site - but it was their second date when things took a sinister turn.

Picking her up in his car, she was told they'd be going for dinner at a nearby restaurant in Sydney, but when her date drove straight past it, alarm bells started to ring and Leila began to panic.

Speaking to 9News' 60 Minutes, she said: "We went straight past the restaurant and then I asked what was going on and he locked his doors and he was like 'well you're coming home with me', things like that."

When they got back to the man's home, he demanded sex immediately, and said that 'it's what he expected given the money he was paying her'.

She didn't accept any money from the man, she just said that she wanted to go to the train station and went home.

Leila thinks that these sorts of websites make it look 'better than it is' to young girls, with most of them saying that sex is optional, when it's not really.

According to 9News, the website SugarDaddyMeet said that this particular man has nine complaints against him. He was apparently banned briefly, but was then let back on with a warning.

Leila was too embarrassed to go to the police, and didn't even tell her parents.

She added: "If you're not sexually ready to have sex with older men then don't go on the website because you're pretty much putting yourself in that situation."
