The UK's first Amazon Supermarket opened in London this week, and one woman has shared a look inside the store to TikTok. Watch the clip below:

In the video, which has racked up more than 29,000 likes, TikTokker Jenna Chan describes shopping there as a 'great experience', adding that staff were 'friendly and helpful' and making special mention of the convenience of the whole thing.

As she enters the shop, Jenna scans the barcode and immediately notes the presence of a sanitisation area, with disposable masks and alcohol to clean your hands.

She adds: "Don't worry about not knowing what to do. There's signs everywhere and they give you a little rundown before you come in."

Jenna then continues: "There is a flower station, a bakery section, a self-serve coffee machine you can grab on the way out, so you don't have to carry it around while you're shopping.

"My favourite part was, of course, a little liqueur section that was hidden away in the back corner.

"There's someone stationed there at all times so they can check everyone's IDs."

Amazon has changed the market with its quick delivery services and the 'smart supermarket' is intended to offer a similar convenience to customers.

The video shows an excited Jenna saying: "Not a huge variety but it has everything you need. You just grab whatever you need and leave.

One of the chief innovations of Amazon Fresh is that it offers a contactless shopping experience, with no need to queue or pay at a till - which prompts Jenna to joke that this takes 'the thrill out of shop lifting'.

All in all, though, it looks like a pretty easy way to do your shopping.

TikTok certainly seemed to agree, with one user commenting: "I need one here just because."

Another person asked a valid question: "I'm so confused to how the door knows what's in ur bag."

Luckily, Amazon is on hand to explain exactly how it works: "Just Walk Out Technology automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual basket.

"When you're done shopping, you can just leave the store.

"Later, we'll email you a receipt and charge your Amazon account. No queues, no checkout."

Sounds pretty straightforward.
