A woman says she didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth in a toilet.
Melissa Surgecoff, from Massachusetts in the US, started to experience intense stomach cramps and pain while at home on 8 March.
After seeing his partner in pain, Surgecoff's fiancé Donnie Campbell called 911, as he believed she may have been passing a kidney stone.
Speaking to Today, she said: "The only relief I would get was sitting on the toilet.
"So I was in the bathroom, and I... couldn't sit still. I was screaming, I was trying not to be loud. Like, I didn't know what this was."
Surgecoff says she then felt 'something rush out of her'.
"I look in the toilet and I still didn't know what it was," she said.
"And I thought I basically lost an organ because I didn't know!"
Talking about the surprise birth, Campbell told NBC Boston that he'd intially thought the baby was 'a giant dookie' - which, as Green Day fans will know, is basically American slang for poo. Charming. However, he then realised it was 'way too big' for that.
He continued: "We were just kind of in shock and not expecting it, and all the sudden there's a baby in the toilet."
Despite receiving no pre-natal care, the new-born is doing great and spent just one night in hospital before being discharged to go home with his mum and dad.
Surgecoff says she had absolutely no clue that she was expecting and that her entire nine-month pregnancy had gone unnoticed.
She says she has an irregular cycle, and although she did gain weight, she attributed it to a change in medication.
She told the news outlet: "We thought it was medication because I had just changed to a new multiple sclerosis medication and that was one of the symptoms, gaining weight."
The couple were due to get married last year, but after their wedding was delayed they also decided to put off starting a family.
Surgecoff said: "We always wanted our ducks in a row, we wanted to get married, we wanted to move out, we wanted to have the right jobs."
Well, you know what they say about best laid plans.
However, now the initial shock has subsided, the couple are absolutely delighted with their new arrival.
The new mum said: "Yeah, it's amazing now, so I wouldn't change it for anything."
