If you've ever dreamed of sleeping inside a giant hot dog vehicle, then you are probably a bit strange.
That's fine though, we all dream strange things from time to time - the difference is that your strange dream could very well come true.
Oscar Mayer - a company that makes hot dogs in the US (and you may recognise from The Simpsons) - are offering sausage-lovers the chance to stay in one of their Weinermobiles on Airbnb.
A Weinermobile, as you could probably guess, is basically the 27-foot-long lovechild of a vehicle and a hot dog. There are six of them in total, which ordinarily spend their days roaming around the US promoting the brand.

But for three days only, one of them is being made available as an extremely alternative form of accommodation.
The 'cosy' Weinermobile can sleep two and comes with a nice little sitting area. There isn't a toilet, but who needs one of those when you've got a mini fridge stocked up with Oscar Mayer hot dogs? Come to think of it, a fridge full of hot dogs will probably make a toilet even more essential than usual. But fear not, the listing says there will be one available in 'an adjacent outdoor space'.
You'll have to hit the jackpot if you're going to get the chance to sleep in a hot dog car with a toilet situated in adjacent outdoor space though, as it is only open for bookings on 1, 2 and 3 August, with guests allowed to book for a maximum of one night. So basically, only six mortals are going to get the chance to sleep in it. Reservations will become available throughout the day on 24 July.

It's going to be parked somewhere in downtown Chicago during Lollapalooza festival and you won't be able to drive it. As such, you're probably best booking it as alternative festival digs, because a meaty road trip is off the menu sadly.
The Weinermobile is priced at $136 (£108) a night and comes with a welcome kit of hot-dog-inspired accessories and an Oscar Mayer roller grill to take home.
It will be made available for booking on 24 July and you can find out more here.
